Thank you for attending

Issaquah’s first ever open studio tour!

Did you attend? Please fill out our survey here!

Spend the day visiting with emerging and established artists in their happy place - right in their home studios! Each site will host an activity or performance to bring you into the art-making process.

See how the magic is made, ask questions, make connections, bring the kids, take home an original piece…get inspired!

The Issaquah Open Studio Tour aims to connect artists and art enthusiasts across all disciplines, united by a common belief that the arts are central to the human experience.

We need to connect with other people through the arts in order to support the continued creation of art. Let’s get to know our neighbors, show some support, inspire, and be inspired!

FAQ:

1) How much does it cost? Absolutely nothing. The Issaquah Open Studio Tour is free to attend. In fact, we pay a stipend to the artists and jurors who participate, because we value their commitment to their work and the time they spend engaging the public as part of this event.

2) Do I need to drive from site to site? Yes. Organize a carpool, or check out Issaquah’s Metroflex service. Our map will contain parking and accessibility information at each site, so you can plan ahead for which ones sound like a good fit for you.

3) What else is there to do in Issaquah if we spend the day there? So much! For all ages! Stop in downtown Issaquah in between studio visits for a meal, bubble tea, playground time, library quiet time, a walk in the woods, or a conversation with Jakob Two Trees! Our studio tour map will have some suggestions, and feel free to ask us or check in with Visit Issaquah if you’re looking for something in particular.

4) What is happening at each artist studio? Every site is different. Some artists will be selling their work. Others will be performing or holding activities for the public to join in. Our map will clearly list the activities at each site, some of which are on a schedule and others are open-ended. Take some time before you come out to plan your route.

5) I am an artist. Can I be featured in the tour? The application cycle to be a featured artist closed on 4/25/24. Join our newsletter and reach out if you are interested in being considered by the jury next year!

6) Can I really win $500 to make more art? Yes! All we want is for you to make more art. Really. Read more about the raffle prize here.
