A fun, easygoing introduction to the basics of this beautiful art form. Students will learn about various techniques, such as (wet on wet, wet on dry, and resist), and will explore the complexities of color theory in an age appropriate way. Learning to work in watercolor helps boost artistic and creative skills for life!
Join teacher Nikki Mason, who has a Master’s in Art Administration and serves as a longtime art docent in the Issaquah School District. She enjoys working in many art mediums including acrylic paint, watercolor, pen and ink, mixed media, printmaking, bookmaking, as well as paper and fiber arts.
This class meets from 11:00am to 11:50am on January 25, February 1, and February 8, and is open to kids ages 7-9.
All supplies are included, no experience necessary.
